Hey everyone, today I want to talk a little about Aroma Therapy. This involves the use of
fragrances
.
It is believed that the use of aromas will relax and calm the body and mind like listening to a babbling brook. There are a few different kinds out there. There come in liquid or crystals. They say in Europe they use these a lot. Also called bath salts, I think? (not sure if they are the exact same things but you get the idea).
Some of the
crystal versions
are anti- inflammatory as well as a fragrance. Use these as well as the liquid for a complete aroma therapy. The trick with these is to start with a little say 2 oz and add more as you go until you reach the desired level of fragrance that you want. Please remember these are filtered out usually within a few hours so it is important to keep your filters clean.
They also have
lotions
that you can use in your spa water to soften your skin if you tend to feel like your skin is dry after you have used your spa.
Aroma therapy
is becoming very popular, some say that the right fragrance can reduce stress a lot and they are great for your over all spa experience. They come in many different scents like Jasmine, Eucalyptus, Mango, Lavender to mention only but a few.
So go ahead and try some aroma therapy and relax this weekend! They make a great gift as well.
