Thinking About A New Spa?

For those of you that do not have a spa but might be thinking about buying one, here are a few things that may help in your search.

Not all spas are the same. While the mechanics of a spa are pretty much the same, the appearance, comfort, and ease of use vary widely. You should know there are so many spa's out there just researching them all would drive you crazy. Try limiting your search to 2 or 3 that are local to your home. Next you want to decide whether you like a spa with a lounging seat or all seats. Have a budget in mind, but remember that you get what you pay for. Don't look at the Mercedes spa and expect to pay for a Chevy. The more options you want like multi-colored changing light's, stainless steel jets, or 3 pumps, the more you can expect to pay.

Spas can be as cheap as $2,000.00 from some of the big box stores. But remember most of these stores will not service the spa, and some only do curb side delivery. So once it is in your driveway it is your problem. There are deals to be made but decide how much ease of use and ease of maintenance mean to you.

There are a few more things to think about. Remember that you need to apply for a permit for a portable spa. You will need a qualified electrician to install the power and know where you want the spa placed. Once you've figured this all out then you can fill your spa with a garden hose and enjoy!

If you have any questions you can send them to me and I will help where ever I can.

Until next time...
